About Freelennial
Freelennial is the brain child of Ericka Grant, a free woman of color.
Financially free since 2015, Ericka “free-tired” briefly before returning to work as a marketing and consumer research professional based in Atlanta. She now works by choice rather than necessity. In her current role as an Account Director at a market research technology company, Ericka helps brands leverage technology to better connect with and understand their consumers.
During her W2 career, Ericka has held insight roles of increasing responsibility in consumer packaged goods, QSR, advertising, and media. She holds a BA from Columbia University in New York and a Masters in Marketing Research (MMR) from The University of Georgia.
Outside of the office, Ericka is passionate about real estate (she owns 7 rental units), family, and financial freedom. An avid member of the FIRE/financial independence retire early movement, Ericka is committed to sharing her story as a free woman of color in order to help others break free from the “corporate plantation.”
